Every volunteer and staff member carries a unique set of gifts, knowledge, skills and experiences that accompany their personal passions. What can a leader to do engage and sustain a valuable workforce? This session breaks down leadership into a series of easy-to-implement practices that help leaders optimize their staff/volunteers and position them to do their best work.

Deepen the engagement of each unique individual on your team through the Coaching Conversation. Coaching will be thoroughly introduced, defined, and then participants will work together to craft Coaching questions that help them get to the heart of their dedicated volunteers and staff.

Presenter: Barry Altland is a writer, speaker, non-profit executive, thought leader and published author of the book, “Engaging the Head, Heart and Hands of a Volunteer,” a simple guide for feeding the passion of those who serve.
