This session will focus on how to use benchmarks for competitive analysis regarding internal and external metrics. After a brief history of benchmarking, we will review industry best practices and examples of where benchmarking has helped to improve process and drive innovation. We will also look at real life examples of non-profit benchmarking and how to approach analyzing, using and implementing action plans regarding performance metrics.
