How to go virtual (while still creating an engaging experience)

Virtual events have been gaining in popularity in the past few years, and yet the past few weeks have put them under a whole new spotlight. Although many in-person events are being converted to the virtual space out of necessity, it’s important to remember that this is an opportunity to deliver a valuable experience for members as well!

While we have years of experience executing in-person events, how can we prepare for the virtual implications? We encourage you to join us for a free (virtual!) event on March 31. Hosted by our friends at Matchbox Virtual Media, we will join fellow state association societies’ peers to explore how virtual events can meet our associations’ needs. The event speakers will each bring a varied perspective on optimizing for engagement in your event design and will provide you with the tools to make the switch without losing the value of your content. An attendee chat will run alongside the video sessions, so you can hear from your fellow peers about how they are navigating these brave new waters.
