p>
The CAEs After Dark program, sponsored by GSAE, acc
omplishes three goals:
• To provide an opportunity to acquire vali

• To promote professional growth through
guided readings and dialogue;
• To encourage networking throughout
the association membership.
The CAEs After Dark meetings are virtual and provide 1 CAE credit hour per meeting. This gathering constitutes a “pr eplanned in-depth group study of specific association management topic(s) w ith interaction between a minimum of three participants from different orga nizations [and earns] 1 CAE credit for each clock hour, up to a maximum of 20 hours per CAE [renewal] application.” (ASAE CAE renewal information< /em>)
The first few minutes of each meeting are reserved for rapid in
troductions of the participants and an overview of the methodology used to
discuss the materials for the meeting. Generally, conversation will include
the following:
• Introductions of participants (5 min)
•
A quick summary of content for the discussion (10 min)
• Conversati

br />• Wrap up, review, and accountability efforts (5 min)
Cr
edit for attendance is only granted based on attendance of the full meeting
; partial attendance of an evening’s session will result in no credit. GSAE
will record credit hours for participants who attend according to GSAE’s n
ormal procedure for tracking attendance. Participants must be members of GS
AE who have earned their CAE. Participants are responsible for reviewing th
e material prior to the meeting.
The att endee list will be sent to GSAE and your attendance and CAE credit will be recorded in your profile, generally within about two weeks of the meeting.< /p>
