I am thankful to have this opportunity to learn and grow professionally by working alongside Samantha Kilgore, Director of Communications, and the rest of Association Services Group’s  staff.                        - Camille Odom, Intern, 2015

GSAE Internship Grant Application

Any organization in Georgia that employs at least one GSAE member may apply. The applications will be judged on the quality of the internship experience described in the application rather than on the qualifications of the student who will fill the internship. In many cases, the organization may apply for the internship without knowing which student will fill the position. It is the responsibility of the organization to recruit a qualified student to fill the internship, but this may be done after the GSAE Foundation announces which applications will be funded. If an organization that is awarded an internship fails to find an intern, then no funds will be distributed to that organization.

The amount of the grant to the organization will vary depending upon the number and quality of applications and on the ability of the organization to participate financially. Organizations applying for grants must be willing to share the cost of the intern, but the Foundation recognizes that some organizations may only be able to pay a small amount, while others could fund a significant portion of the internship.

The deadline for 2017 internship grant applications is May 1.

Download and complete the application and view examples of some sections of the application.
