GSAE Luncheon, The 45th annual Abit Massey Lecture Series - Sept. 20, 2023

“Live to Give “ will inspire you to reaffirm your goals for your organization and to recognize how you are making a difference in the lives of others. Stella will guide you on how to continue giving through the services of your particular association as well as in your private life. Stressing the importance of a balanced life between work, family and community, Stella will help you identify ways inside and outside of your professional life to give to others by using your unique gifts and talents.

Stella Williams Bailey is a twice-honor graduate of the University of Georgia with a master’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. She is a professorial speaker who has spoken to numerous groups of students at the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. She has been the keynote speaker for various groups including The Georgia Women of Achievement, The UGA Family and Consumer Sciences Leadership Conference, and the Georgia Middle School Counselors Association. Through her business, Be A Star With Stella, Stella has consulted with individuals for over 25 years, coaching them in self-confidence, interview skills, and public speaking.

Stella served on the University of Georgia Alumni Board of Directors for 20 years. She was named as one of the 100 Year Centennial Honorees by the UGA’s College of Family and Consumer Sciences. She was also the recipient of the first Pearl Award for Volunteerism in Calhoun-Gordon County. Currently, Stella serves on the Executive Board of the Georgia Women of Achievement Board of Trustees.  In addition, she is an active member of her church in Cordele, a member of the Cordele Crisp Community League and a board member of the Crisp Area Arts Alliance.

****Please note, the Commission has announced a new CAE Registered Provider Program. This course has been submitted for pre-approval for CAE Credit. We believe it qualifies for credit for your qualification to sit for the exam or your CAE renewal under Domain 2: Executive Leadership. 

GSAE is a CAE Registered Provider. This program meets the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential. Every program that we offer which qualifies for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation, and we will maintain records of your participation in accord with CAE policies. For more information about the CAE credential or Approved Provider program, please visit www.asaecenter.org/cae. As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, we believe this luncheon program may be applied for .75 credit toward your CAE application or renewal of professional development requirements.

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, GSAE meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to GSAE’s use and distribution (now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities.

Cancellation Policy
Your cancellation request must be made in writing and received by GSAE at least 4 working days prior to the date of event via e-mail ([email protected]). Replacement registrants are welcome. Refunds will only be given in cases where the above guidelines are followed. If you do not attend the luncheon and do not cancel your registration or submit a replacement, you will be billed after the meeting.
